Project Overview

The TheIslandSriLanka.com website was designed and developed by Isura Wickramarachchi as a dynamic PHP/MySQL tourism portal for Worldlink Tours (Pvt) Ltd., the inbound travel division of the Worldlink Travel Group.

The website was developed to promote Sri Lanka as a premier travel destination by providing visitors with comprehensive information on the country's natural beauty, cultural heritage, wildlife, beaches, adventure experiences, and tailor-made holiday packages. In addition to serving as a destination guide, the platform enabled visitors to submit reservation enquiries and explore a wide range of specialised tour programmes.

As the inbound tourism arm of the Worldlink Travel Group, Worldlink Tours specialises in tailor-made holidays, hotel reservations, vehicle rentals, sightseeing tours, wildlife expeditions, and cultural experiences for international travellers.
