Support for Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's Visit to Japan – Tokyo Chapter

During the visit of Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to Japan in December 2017, the Hadawathe Janadhipathi Mahinda – Tokyo Chapter organised support programme for the visit.

Sri Lankan volunteers and supporters living across Japan came together to contribute to the success of the programme. Their efforts included welcoming the delegation, coordinating transportation and logistics, assisting with event arrangements, and providing voluntary support throughout the visit.

The welcoming events in Tokyo demonstrated the unity of the Sri Lankan community in Japan. Participants proudly displayed the Sri Lankan national flag and worked together to ensure that the visit was well organised and meaningful.

This initiative highlighted the dedication of the Hadawathe Janadhipathi Mahinda – Tokyo Chapter and the commitment of the Sri Lankan diaspora to supporting community and national activities abroad.
