Attending the Occasion Marking Ajith Nivard Cabraal’s Assumption of Duties

On 14 August 2020, I had the opportunity to attend the occasion held at the Ministry of Finance in connection with Ajith Nivard Cabraal assuming duties in his new State Ministerial role.

Official records of the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka show that Cabraal served as the State Minister of Money & Capital Market and State Enterprise Reforms from 12 August 2020. Ministry of Finance The portfolio covered areas including the development of money and capital markets, supervision and reform of state enterprises, and creating an enabling environment for investment.
