Date: 14 July 2019
Location: Wariyapola, Kurunegala
Organised by: World Patriotic Lankan Forum

On 14 July 2019, I attended the "Rata Yana Atha 2020?" public forum held in Wariyapola, Kurunegala. The programme was organised at the invitation of Wasantha Keerthirathna, President of the World Patriotic Lankan Forum.

The discussion focused on different perspectives concerning Sri Lanka's future direction. According to my records from the event, participants included Rear Admiral Sarath Weerasekara, retired Major General Kamal Gunaratne, Professor Channa Jayasumana and several other speakers and professionals.

The event attracted a large audience and remains another memory from my involvement in social and public activities during this period. It also provided an opportunity to listen to different viewpoints and meet people from a variety of professional and social backgrounds.

These photographs preserve moments from the forum, the large gathering that attended it, and some of the people I met during the event.
