Media and Organizational Support for the 7th Memorial Commemoration of Hon. Amarasiri Dodangoda

On June 4, 2016, the seventh memorial commemoration of former Sri Lankan Minister Amarasiri Dodangoda was held at Kumme Public Ground in Baddegama, Galle.

The event was attended by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and a large gathering of local residents and other participants.

At the request of Isuru Dodangoda, our Hadawathe Janadhipathi Mahinda Team contributed to the event by assisting with media-related activities and organizational arrangements.

Our team members worked together on various preparations and coordination tasks associated with the commemorative gathering. The experience provided an opportunity to participate in the practical organization of a major public event.

Having been involved in political activities and social media coordination since 2015, I considered this an important opportunity to expand my experience in teamwork, event coordination, and public gathering management.

I particularly valued the cooperation among our team members and the opportunity to contribute to an event commemorating a former public representative.

I remain grateful to Isuru Dodangoda for inviting our team to participate and to the fellow members who contributed their time and effort.
