Participation in a Political Rally in Homagama

Date: September 12, 2016
Location: Homagama, Sri Lanka
Activity: Participation in a Political Public Rally
Group: Hadawathe Janadhipathi Mahinda Team

On September 12, 2016, I participated in a political public rally held in Homagama, together with fellow members of the Hadawathe Janadhipathi Mahinda Team.

The event attracted a large gathering of people to the town centre. Political banners, posters, and campaign displays were visible throughout the surrounding area.

Our team attended the rally wearing coordinated group shirts, reflecting our collective participation in political activities during that period. We also captured several photographs together, documenting the gathering and our team's presence.

Having been actively involved in political activities since 2015, participation in public rallies such as this formed part of my experience in political engagement and grassroots networking.

These gatherings also provided opportunities for members who regularly communicated through social media to meet in person and strengthen their connections.

The Homagama rally remains part of my personal photographic archive, documenting my political involvement and participation alongside members of the Hadawathe Janadhipathi Mahinda Team in 2016.
