Blood Donation Camp at Navinna Raja Maha Viharaya

On 23 January 2021, a blood donation camp organised by the Touch Your Heart Foundation was held at Navinna Raja Maha Viharaya.

Despite being conducted during the COVID-19 period, the programme brought together voluntary blood donors who came forward to contribute blood for the benefit of others.

The Isura Wickramarachchi Foundation also supported the programme. In recognition of the humanitarian contribution made by the participants, the Foundation presented certificates of appreciation to all those who donated blood on the day.

Supporting blood donation programmes and recognising people who voluntarily give blood became one aspect of my wider social-service activities. This programme at Navinna Raja Maha Viharaya was another opportunity to contribute towards that purpose in collaboration with the Touch Your Heart Foundation.
