Information Technology (IT) Seminar – Homagama Central College

On 29 June 2012, I had the privilege of serving as a guest speaker at an Information Technology (IT) Seminar held in the Main Hall of Homagama Central College. The seminar was attended by a large number of students and was organized to enhance their understanding of information technology while introducing them to the opportunities available in the rapidly evolving digital world.

During the session, I delivered presentations on Internet technologies, web development, social media, Google services, career opportunities in IT, digital safety, and emerging technology trends. Through live demonstrations, I introduced students to practical applications of modern web technologies and illustrated how digital tools could be effectively used for education, communication, and career development.

The interactive question-and-answer session reflected the students' enthusiasm and curiosity about technology. I had the opportunity to guide them on higher education pathways, career opportunities in the IT industry, essential technical skills, and the importance of continuous learning in a fast-changing technological environment.

As the Managing Director of isandi CREATIONS and a professional web developer, I considered it a privilege to share my industry experience with the younger generation. This seminar was part of my ongoing commitment to inspiring students to embrace technology responsibly, develop valuable digital skills, and pursue successful careers in the field of Information Technology.
