Dry Food Donations for Families Around Homagama During COVID-19

During 2021, COVID-19 restrictions created significant difficulties for many families, particularly those who depended on daily income and had limited opportunities to continue their normal work.

On 26 May 2021, we prepared and distributed packages containing dry food and other essential items to families in need around Homagama and the surrounding areas.

The photographs from the day record both the prepared relief packages and our involvement in carrying out the distribution while taking precautions appropriate to the pandemic period.

The purpose was simple - to provide whatever assistance we could to families experiencing difficulties at that time. For me, this remains another meaningful memory from the pandemic, demonstrating how sharing what we could with others provided practical support during an exceptionally difficult period.
