Supporting Youth Entrepreneurship – Opening of a New Clothing Business

On 28 August 2017, I had the opportunity to attend the opening ceremony of a new clothing and apparel business established by young entrepreneur Shani Anupama Wijenayaka, offering my best wishes for the success of her new venture.

The occasion highlighted the importance of encouraging young entrepreneurs, promoting self-employment, and supporting small businesses that contribute to local economic development and job creation.

Following the traditional ceremonial lighting of the oil lamp, the new business premises were officially opened and visitors were able to tour the store and congratulate the entrepreneur on her achievement. The event celebrated the determination and hard work required to transform an entrepreneurial vision into reality.
