"Sinhawalokanaya" Movie Media Conference

On 04 January 2011, I had the opportunity to attend the official media conference of the Sinhala feature film "Sinhawalokanaya", held at The Kingsbury, Colombo. The event brought together the film's director, producers, cast members, media representatives, and many distinguished personalities from the Sri Lankan film industry.

Sinhawalokanaya was introduced as Sri Lanka's first Sinhala feature film centered on the game of cricket and was produced to coincide with the excitement surrounding the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup.

As someone actively involved in Sri Lanka's digital media and creative industries, attending this media event provided a valuable opportunity to interact with filmmakers, artists, and industry professionals while witnessing the promotional launch of a significant Sri Lankan cinematic production. It remains a memorable experience in my professional journey and reflects my continued engagement with the country's film and entertainment industry.
