Registration of the Hadawathe Janadhipathi Mahinda (HJM) Team as an Official Organisational Branch of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna

On 1 December 2016, the Hadawathe Janadhipathi Mahinda (HJM) Team was officially registered as an organisational branch of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) at the party headquarters on Nelum Mawatha, Battaramulla.

During the event, the members of the HJM Team formally received their party membership from Hon. Basil Rajapaksa. The occasion also included discussions on the team's future organisational structure, community service initiatives, volunteer programmes, and strategies for expanding public engagement throughout Sri Lanka.

Senior party representatives and members of the HJM Team participated in the meeting, exchanging ideas on youth engagement, community development, grassroots organisation, and future social service projects that would be carried out across the country.

The official registration marked a significant milestone in the history of the HJM Team. It strengthened the organisation's role beyond social media activities, enabling it to function as a structured volunteer organisation engaged in community service, public outreach, youth empowerment, and national-level social initiatives.

This event laid the foundation for many of the HJM Team's subsequent community development and volunteer projects undertaken throughout Sri Lanka.
