Donation of School Exercise Books to the Children of Bataandura Junior School

Date: 3 December 2022
Location: Bataandura Junior School, Deniyaya

At the end of 2022, I carried out a donation of school exercise books for the children of Bataandura Junior School in Deniyaya.

The books were prepared and individually packed as gifts before being distributed to the students. The intention was not simply to provide educational materials, but also to present them to the children in a thoughtful and encouraging way.

On 3 December 2022, the prepared books were handed over to the children at the school in the presence of students, teachers and parents. The main purpose of the initiative was to provide practical support for the children's continuing education.

I believe that even a relatively small contribution towards a child's education can become meaningful in their future journey. For that reason, initiatives supporting the educational needs of children have remained an important part of my community service work.
